All progress is saved in your local browser's localStorage database. We do not store your data on external tracking servers. If you clear your browser cookies or browsing cache, your scores will reset.
Q: Why is there no sound playing on mobile browsers?
Modern mobile browsers (such as iOS Safari and Chrome Android) require a user tap or interaction before initializing the Web Audio API context. Simply tap the game canvas or press any button to un-mute the procedural audio oscillators.
Q: Are all simulations free to play?
Yes, 100%. All twenty-five simulations on GLITCH GRID are completely free, open to play directly in your browser without paywalls, sign-ups, or software downloads.
Q: How do I submit reproducible bug reports?
To help our engineering collective resolve anomalies swiftly, please include your operating environment (e.g., Windows 11 / Chrome 128 or iOS 17.5 Safari), the specific simulation title, and clear steps to reproduce the visual tearing or collision glitch.
Q: Do you accept community game proposals?
Yes. Glitch Grid actively collaborates with indie game developers and retro simulation enthusiasts. If you have an original HTML5 canvas prototype or a retro mechanic you would like to see integrated into the Grid, select "Game Balance & Feature Suggestion" in the category menu.
Q: What is your policy regarding data privacy and advertising?
We believe in transparent, non-intrusive gaming. Our platform does not employ invasive tracking cookies or forced interstitial countdowns. All gameplay saves remain local to your browser, and our display advertising complies strictly with Google Publisher Policies and industry-standard consent management protocols.
