Q: How are my high scores and level progress stored?
All progress is saved in your local browser's localStorage database. We do not store your data on external tracking servers. If you clear your browser cookies or browsing cache, your scores will reset.
Q: Why is there no sound playing on mobile browsers?
Modern mobile browsers (such as iOS Safari and Chrome Android) require a user tap or interaction before initializing the Web Audio API context. Simply tap the game canvas or press any button to un-mute the procedural audio oscillators.
Q: Are all simulations free to play?
Yes, 100%. All twenty-five simulations on GLITCH GRID are completely free, open to play directly in your browser without paywalls, sign-ups, or software downloads.
